Out of Warranty Repairs for Mac & iOS

If your device is within warranty coverage and qualifies for repair based on Apple’s Limited Warranty, there will be no charge associated with diagnosing and fixing your device.

For devices no longer under warranty, the following diagnostic fees would apply to have your device looked at by one of our certified technicians:

iPhone Diagnostic Fee $65

iPad Diagnostic Fee $100

Mac Diagnostic Fee $150

AirPods Diagnostic Fee $40

If after your device has been diagnosed and you choose to have us repair the device, 100% of the iPhone and iPad diagnostic fees or 50% of the Mac diagnostic fee will be credited on your final invoice.

Follow these steps before you take your device to an Apple Store, Apple Authorized Service Provider, or carrier. If your device won’t turn on or respond, finish as many steps as possible:

If you haven’t already,schedule an appointment.

iOS:

Back up your iOS device.
Have your Apple ID password ready. For some repairs, you’ll need your Apple ID password to erase your device and turn off Find My iPhone.*
If your iOS device needs battery service, have the battery percentage at 30% or less when you bring it in, if possible.

Mac:

Back up your Mac device.
If your Mac device needs battery service, have the battery percentage at 30% or less when you bring it in, if possible.

You should bring these items with you:
Your sales receipt/invoice, in case your service requires proof of purchase.
The device in question and any accessories that you need help with.
A form of personal identification, such as a drivers license, passport, or other government-issued ID.


* If you’re unable to turn off Find My iPhone, Apple might not be able to service your device. This policy is in force to prevent unauthorized persons from servicing your device without your knowledge. If you don’t remember your Apple ID and Password, please go to iForgot.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit Cards, and cash payments only.

All prices on this Website are shown in Barbados Dollars (BDS) and are VAT inclusive where applicable.

and may change without notice.

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards.

If you pay using a card denominated in a foreign currency, charges will be processed in BDS and converted at the rate applied by our payment processor and/or your issuing bank at the time of purchase.

1) Warranty Coverage

Apple Products

iShop honors Apple’s one (1) year limited parts & labour warranty on:

  • Computer systems

  • iPads

  • iPods

  • Beats headsets

You can review Apple’s warranty policy for full terms and exclusions.

All Other Goods

All other goods carry a 90-day warranty from the original purchase date, unless otherwise stated on your invoice or in the product listing.

After 90 days from the original purchase date, products are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines.

2) Exchanges & Refunds (30-Day Window)

Exchanges or refunds will only be accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date, and the original invoice must be provided.

To qualify, products must be:

  • In as-soldworking condition, and

  • Returned with all original packaging and accessories

Exception: Packaging/accessory requirements may be waived where the product is being returned due to a manufacturer defect or was misdescribed.

No refunds or exchanges will be accepted after 30 days from the original purchase date.


3) Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged (except where required by law):

  • Opened software

  • Systems registered to an end user (non-returnable due to licensing/copyright laws)

  • Customized-to-Order (CTO) systems

  • Special-order items

  • Gift cards


4) Restocking Fees

For returns that are not defective and not misdescribed, iShop Barbados reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15%, based on the condition of the returned goods and packaging.

Delivery/shipping and related charges (if applicable) are not refundable.


5) Refund Method (Purchases Over $150)

  • No in-store cash refunds will be issued for purchases over $150.

  • Any refund over $150 will be issued by cheque, which can be collected from the store within 1–3 business days after the product is returned.


6) Return Location (Single Store)

All returns must be made to our iShop Barbados location. Please contact us in advance to confirm eligibility and to receive return instructions.


7) Right to Refuse Returns

iShop Barbados reserves the right to refuse returns, including (but not limited to) situations where:

  • The invoice cannot be provided

  • The return is outside the 30-day return window

  • The product is missing packaging, accessories, or components (where required)

  • The item shows signs of misuse, damage, or is not in as-sold condition

  • The item is non-returnable under this policy
